About Peter Anderson, M.D.
Peter B. Anderson, M.D. completed his Medical Degree in 1978 at the University of
Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville and his residency training at Riverside
Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia. Dr. Anderson was a solo practitioner
for 12 years before joining Hilton Family Practice in 1994. Hilton Family Practice,
located at 10852 Warwick Boulevard in Newport News, Virginia, is part of Riverside
Medical Group, a network of more than 80 practice locations and 325 board-certified
providers offering a variety of medical specialties stretching from the Northern
Neck area of Virginia to historic Smithfield.
Dr. Anderson is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the
University of Virginia School of Medicine, and Assistant Professor of Clinical Family
and Community Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.
Dr. Anderson, his wife, Laurie reside in Yorktown, Virginia. They have four grown
children. In 1977, Dr. Anderson's life was changed by Jesus Christ. Family, church,
friends, tennis, hunting and training retrievers are his pleasures.
